At SBRI, we envision a world free from the threat of infectious disease. Focused Growth: The diseases we research kill 14 million people each year so there is no time to waste. SBRI is delivering on the promise of accelerating discoveries toward new solutions for the world’s most devastating diseases.

Current Research: SBRI has five successful research programs, with nearly 50 research projects currently under way. The projects need resources to sustain the talent and technologies to see them through.

Science Education: Educating and engaging the next generation of global health advocates and scientific leaders is key to SBRI’s mission. Our BioQuest science education program offers real-world experiences for high school students and teachers.

Passport to Global Health Celebration: Our spring event raises awareness of global health by bringing world-renowned speakers to Seattle, while raising funds for innovative research at SBRI.
