Passport to Global Health
Celebration
Over 700 people attended the 2008 Passport to Global Health Celebration to
listen to Melinda Gates deliver an inspiring keynote speech touching on the need
to create health equality for people around the world. She highlighted malaria,
HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis research underway at SBRI as part of the solution to
improve global health. With the help of our corporate sponsors and individual
donors, SBRI raised $670,000 for global infectious disease research.
