Focused Growth

At SBRI, we are delivering on the promise of a healthier world. We’ve launched a series of scientific initiatives to accelerate discoveries toward three – malaria, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis – of the most urgent global health problems.

This year, SBRI is focused on:

  • Malaria Program Expansion – recruiting an additional world-class scientist to our talented team, which has expertise in every stage of the parasite’s life cycle and is focused on multiple vaccine and drug targets.

  • TB Drug Discovery – growing our program with additional TB experts and equipping them with the tools and technologies to create better, faster and cheaper TB drugs for the thousands who suffer from this complex and deadly disease.

Help Us Deliver on the Promise
While SBRI scientists are experts at winning competitively awarded research grants, those funds are tightly focused on specific projects. We need significant gifts from generous individuals, foundations, and corporations to help us support areas of focused growth that will accelerate new solutions.

Here are just a few of the ways SBRI directs donations to advance scientific research:

  • Talent – bringing the brightest minds to SBRI

  • Tools and technologies – state-of-the-art facilities/resources shared by multiple labs

  • Scientific support – providing all the necessary services to move science forward quickly and effectively

Together, we can deliver on the promise of a world free from the threat of global infectious disease. Please join us.
