The Stuart Fund | Stewardship and Giving Funds

While making an online donation may be the most immediate way to invest with the Center, it may not be the most convenient or impactful way for you, our donor. As such, below you will find a variety of other avenues to make your gift.

By Mail or Phone

You can call (206) 256-7200 between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, and provide us your credit card information. Checks, made payable to the Center for Infectious Disease Research, should be mailed to:

By Stocks, Bonds or Mutual Funds

Download our Securities Transfer form and call (206) 256-7237 to obtain our DCT Clearing Number and ACCT Number. Send the form into your brokerage firm, ensuring you keep a copy for your own files.

By Wire Transfer

Please call (206) 256-7237 so we can provide you our account information to share with your bank who will directly wire funds to us. You can also establish a recurring check request through your online banking to be sent to us on whatever schedule you choose.

By Donor Advised Fund

A donor advised fund is a specific kind of giving vehicle that is administered through a third party public charity like Fidelity or Schwab Charitable. Locally, many individuals have established donor advised funds through the Seattle Foundation.

You may contribute to your fund as frequently as you wish, receiving an immediate tax benefit, and recommend giving to your favorite charity when you are ready. Please note however, that the initial giving into your donor advised fund is your tax deductible transaction and as such, you will receive an acknowledgement not a receipt from the Center.

Recommend a gift to the Center for Infectious Disease Research now through your donor advised fund using DAF Direct. Simply enter the amount you wish to give, click next, and complete your submission.

Gifts of Property

Both personal property – like art, cars or equipment – and real property – like land or buildings – must be approved by our gift acceptance committee. If you would like to donate either personal or real property to the Center, please call (206) 256-7237.
